This was one of a tip 10 boosters rated by a 10/1/08 news by Insurance Institute for Highway Safety report. Who am we to argue? We formerly were regulating a Cosco Alpha Omega Elite Convertible Car Seat, that as a upholder was giving us some problems (the path belt was not fibbing prosaic on her thighs). we researched a chair and found out it was no longer scoring good for a upholder for this reason. Sad given we desired this seat! In addition, she could not offshoot it herself.
So, a mandate were 1) lightweight seat, 2) easy buckling, 3) ability to adjust for mixed cars (e.g. we wish to know a seatbelt will be positioned properly), 4) cupholder
The mixed designs, tractable armrests, and cupholders on EACH side were bonuses.
Here's what we like:
-It's lightweight, can be simply buckled, there is an adjuster tag that attaches like a fasten to possibly side of a chair - it has a shave to reason a seatbelt down and divided from a neck
Here's what we don't like:
-The cupholders are stout and sincerely easy to lift out to use (could be easier) though shallow.
-The armrests don't snap in as resolutely as we would like - they are hold in with cosmetic clips, that if bent, means them to come out.
-While she seems comfy, there is small stuffing - a ones due out Nov 08 don't have a impression designs though seem to competition some-more padding

Our kids had outgrown their automobile seats and after checking with Consumer's Reports, we motionless that this was a best upholder chair for a kids. In further to decent stuffing for them, a seats have cup/stuff holders on any side of a seat. This is critical as some boosters have a holders usually on one side, that is fine if we have one kid. But if we have dual seats, we need to be means to open one on a left side and one on a right. The usually reason it did not get 5 stars is that we suspicion a armrest would flip adult (as in other brands) though it does not, creation it a small some-more formidable for them to strech over to bend themselves in. Otherwise we like a product unequivocally much.

This automobile chair is not good for prolonged drives, that will be an emanate for a drives from a brook area to a Sierras (3-4hr drive) This is a reason we gave it 3 stars.
I was creatively going to buy this chair in a Chatter (Black,$19), though finished adult shopping a Baker (light blue, $25)since it looked like a newer indication and was a small some-more expensive. The reason was that we had examination that this automobile chair did not have most cushioning, though that reviewer suspicion a Nov 08 indication was going to have that. we researched on a net for that indication would be a new Nov 08 model, though wasn't means to find it. Therefore, we looked during a pics and cost and took a possibility that a Baker would be this newer indication with some-more padding. we am contemptible to contend that we was wrong.
Got a chair and for a cost it looks flattering good, though it unequivocally has NO PADDING. The usually stuffing is what's used to stitch a cover and it's THIN. This upholder is going to have to be a "around town" booster, though we would not take it along for any long-drive vacation trips. Unless, of course, we can supplement some stuffing myself to a seat. we wish we would have only gotten a Chatter for reduction money.
Luckely we also have a Compass 510 that is glorious for prolonged drives... we saw it got bad examination in that carseat study. we went behind out to a automobile to check if a path belt unequivocally is too high adult on a stomach on a child, and in a case/kid this is NOT a problem. we would only suggest to try whatever chair we get IN YOUR automobile with your child.
