Every once in a while a story comes along that creates me run a full progression of emotions. His Destiny by Diana Cosby is one of them. This extraordinary story is a fourth in a MacGruder array and approbation we will contend it, my favorite. It is a story of danger, dishonesty and emancipation all wound into one violent ride.
We start with a womanlike protagonist being assaulted by English Knights. Sir Patrik Cleary comes on a Knights attempting to rape a lady. Christina Moffat is not all she says she is, we fast find out she is unequivocally Emma Astyn, an barbarous English niggardly who has been hired to cater a Scot, Dubh Duer/Patrik Cleary and take a missive from him to give to a English.
