I have been a fan of Lael Miller's for a while now, and have seen a peculiarity of her books decline. This final book in a trilogy was clearly fast written. we suspicion it unequivocally lacked any substance, and a story line is recycled from prior books (could have been Tate, Garrett and Austin or Logan, Dylan and Tyler). There were a few sum that apparently weren't edited correctly. In a Hidden Lake scene, Brody is pronounced to have left his cowboy shawl on a horse's saddle, afterwards it's pronounced he sets in on his clothes. In a following scene, a story indicates he left it in a lorry during a plantation residence and never even had it! Come on! The use of a tenure "copse of trees" or "copse of cottonwood trees" is in EVERY SINGLE book we have read! we like a good intrigue book, and a good cowboy story, though we competence have to start looking elsewhere!
